Research Integrity and Security is partnering with campus colleagues to offer workshops as part of our Responsible and Ethical Conduct of Research (RECR) Program.

Responsible and Ethical Conduct of Research – Research Ethics Case Studies

This interactive, peer-led workshop will focus on research ethics case studies. In each case study, we will identify ethical problems and discuss and analyze approaches to handling the situations in the case. We will also look at what constitutes research misconduct, Mines’ policies for handling such misconduct, and the procedures for reporting and addressing these issues.

Presented by SYGN 502 students with support from the Research Integrity and Security office.

Any graduate student or post-doc funded by NIH or NSF must fulfill training with an in-person element.

Workshops are open to all students.
