Colorado CEPlast (Circular Economy for Plastic Sustainability) a CO plastic innovation hub supporting companies, startups, and communities for sustainable plastic innovations and solutions

A joint partnership between Mines, NREL, CSU, Colorado Community College System, and CU, the CO Plastic Innovation Hub is pursuing a $160M National Science Foundation Engine grant that will support plastic manufacture and reuse at all stages of innovation: from brand new ideas to startups to well established companies. The CO Plastic Innovation Hub aims to bring new companies to the region and create new job opportunities and training for Coloradans.

Learn about ways to engage with the CO Plastic Innovation Hub, such as:

  • Apply for grants and participate in competitions
  • Receive expert consultation on sustainability, circularity, and business feasibility
  • Host interns
  • Sponsor educational and outreach programs for students and communities
  • Get early access to cutting edge research and technology development
  • Be part of the Hub supply chain
  • Access lab testing and incubator facilities
  • Advise and mentor student innovation teams and startups
  • Sponsor school tours of your facilities
  • Host lunch and learn with students to learn about your company and job opportunities
  • Donate recycling or test equipment to our startups and incubator labs
